CPAP and BiLevel Devices
For most patients diagnosed with sleep apnea, treatment requires a CPAP or BiLevel device to be worn while sleeping. The CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) device delivers air at a single pressure prescribed by your sleep specialist. A BiLevel device provides two levels of pressure, one for inhalation and a lower pressure during exhalation. Both devices are fitted individually to each patient for optimal comfort.

Within 72 hours of receiving your device, Areté will contact you to make sure the equipment is comfortable and being used properly. A professional respiratory therapist will contact you at various times throughout the year to ensure you are getting results and the equipment is working properly. If any service is needed, it will be arranged. Our specialists are available to help you at any time during your treatment.
To ensure optimum comfort and benefit, we equip every PAP device with a phone modem. The modem uploads the usage from the night before on a daily basis. One of our Respiratory Therapists reviews your PAP therapy usage on a daily basis and will contact you when we identify there may be therapy issues.
Convenient Supplies Program
As part of our Aftercare Program, Areté arranges automatic shipment of supplies as needed every month. This eliminates the hassle of visiting drugstores or using mail-order companies.
